All,
We just got a mid surgery update.
He is doing fine.
They have replaced the mitral valve and are warming him up to see how he does.
Then they will go to the replacement of the aortic valve.
I had so hoped it could be repaired.
This means he will be on blood thinners for life and anti rejection drugs for a year.
It will be a lot of life changes for all of us.
But, let's focus on the blessings.
Surgery is going well.
This is an answer to prayer.
He is surrounded by a team of amazing doctors.
A blessing...
He is probably 1/2 way through.
Another blessing...
I will check in as we hear more.
The prayers mean more than I can say.
Keep them coming!
